Piermont "Piney" Winston
PB: William Lucking
Gender: Male Faction(s): SAMCRO Status: Deceased (Might be deceased, but that doesn't mean we can't be creative!) Marital Status: Divorced Title: Former V.P.; First 9 Brief Bio: A co-founder of SAMCRO, one of the First 9. He was the club's oldest member and senior club advisor. He served in the Vietnam War with John Teller. When they returned home they felt ostracized by the same society they had just risked their lives for. Confused and unappreciated, they formed SOA in search of their own version of freedom. As the series began, Piney had slowed down, and - due to emphysema – carried an oxygen tank. He sat in for church meetings, but rarely went on runs. In his denim cut, Piney was the last vestige of old school SOA. His son, Opie was also a member. According to Gemma, Piney and John Teller were very close friends. JT and Piney had been best friends, since they were in school and relied on each other for support. When JT died, he stayed on as VP, but only until Jax was old enough and able to take a seat at the table. He would only step down from being VP, if Jax took his position. He remained a member, once he stepped down, so he could have a vote and keep Clay under control, once he was voted in as the new president. Piney was never sure of Clay and always doubted him and his motives for doing things. Keith McGee
PB: Andy McPhee
Gender: Male Factions: SAMCRO; SAMBEL Status: Deceased Marital Status: Married Title: President; First 9 Brief Bio: McGee came to the States in the 60′s and rode from New York to CA, where he met John Teller, Piney and Lenny 'The Pimp' Janowitz who had all just returned from Vietnam. They formed the “Sons” and when Clay joined them in the 70′s they settled in Charming and became the Redwood Originals. He later went back to Belfast, with John & Clay, to form SAMBEL and become the link between SOA and the IRA |
Clarence "Clay" Morrow
PB: Ron Perlman
Gender: Member Factions: SAMCRO (Formerly) Status: Alive Marital Status: Married Title: Former President; First 9; Men of Meyhem Brief Bio: In 1967, he was one of nine members who formed the Sons of Anarchy Motorcycle Club. He was the youngest of the first nine, and one of only three who were not war veterans. He did later go on to serve in the military, however, joining the Army Airborne in 1969 and serving in Vietnam until 1972. He commemorates his service with a tattoo on his left arm and by displaying the parachutist badge on his vest. When he returned from Vietnam, he reconnected with the club. He and John Teller, the club President and his best friend, opened the Teller-Morrow auto shop. While serving as the club Vice President during the early 1990s, he was responsible for a number of murders during the SAMCRO-Mayan War. One of his victims was Lowell Harland, Sr., a mechanic at the auto shop who became an ATF informant. John Teller died in 1993, and Clay succeeded him as President of the club's Mother Chapter, based in Charming. He married John's widow Gemma Teller in the mid-1990s. She took his name, becoming Gemma Teller Morrow, and he adopted their son Jackson 'Jax' Teller. Jax grew up to become Clay's Vice-President. Under Morrow, SAMCRO have become more of a criminal enterprise than before, to Jax's dissatisfaction. |
